Logan Grant back on his feet

Magruder High School Senior Logan Grant (wearing white) is remarkably already back on his feet only 5 days after surgery and was in good spirits for a team visit - his recovery so far has consisted of mostly hanging with friends and gaming. That's RAM Hockey tough!  Hoping for a speedy recovery Logan!

SafeSport Training Rule Changes starting Fall / Winter 2019 & 2020

All players 17 or older on or before 12/31 of the current playing season, must take SafeSport training,

Passed at the 2019 USA Hockey Annual Congress:

All players seventeen (17) years of age or older on or before December 31 of that playing season, and that play on a team in a classification that allows minor age players, shall be required to complete SafeSport Training before being added to such team and prior to participation (on-ice or off-ice). This requirement shall apply to all teams in the age classifications Youth, Girls, High School, Junior Hockey, Flex Hockey and Disabled Hockey programs that allow both Minor age and adult age players. Players required to complete the training shall complete the Core Center for SafeSport Training prior to being added to a team and shall complete the Refresher Course each subsequent season in which they are on a team in the above classifications.

Since the MSHL registers players from 9th grade through 12th grade, all MSHL players who are 17 years of age or older as of December 31, must take SafeSport training before they can be added to a roster. This can be taken online at the  USA Hockey website.
